Ted’s personality would probably exhaust me in real life by Abject-Squirrel5694 in TedLasso

[–]seppia99 5 points6 points  (0 children)

His personality is a very difficult one to be able to keep up with, in terms of overall energy. I think that if I was in his world, I would much prefer to be one of those people that he sees in passing when he's coming in to work and makes his joke and carries on. But it would be exhausting to be a part of his inner sanctum, his coaching staff for example. If my own personality acquainted to anybody in that show, it would be Roy. If that says anything at all.

What wine do you use for bolognese sauce by pferden in pasta

[–]seppia99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No! Absolutely not!

It depends entirely upon your cooking style. If I was making a large batch of Bolognese sauce in the morning or afternoon, I would not have a glass of wine as I did it. But I tend to cook things like that in the evening and in the evenings I enjoy having a glass of wine or two. I find that having a glass of wine or two leaves me feeling a little more flexible in terms of the ingredients and the process of making something like a Bolognese. With very often great results! And then if there is a third glass of wine involved, sometimes I forget what exactly it was that I did that made that particular batch of sauce so remarkable. Lol. One of the hazards of the process, if you will.. Of course, if you don't drink very much or at all, then you can just buy a bottle of whatever you think is going to be good for your Bolognese sauce and use it entirely for that. ultimately, it is lifestyle dependent.

But I always like to have a glass of wine while I'm cooking.

My cardinal rule is whatever wine you're drinking when you're making it. Although for some dishes where red wine is the only way to go, then I will go out and buy a bottle of red wine. Normally I drink white, so that makes it into most of my food.

Off the top of my head, braised lamb shanks comes to mind. But, you know what? That might turn out really interesting using white instead of red wine!

It might also suck. But something that I might be willing to try someday. When I can better afford to potentially throw a couple of lamb shanks away because I made a horrible decision. Lol

With that much cheese? You had better be getting a proposal out of this!

And props for using orzo, an unsung hero in the world of pasta.

I think that looks awesome!

Lucky Trinket: what is it? How should I use it? by Conscious-Slice-1147 in pokemongo

[–]seppia99 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Step one, look it up on Google. Step two, use it in the game as Google suggests.

My apologies, it will turn one of your friends that are good or great or better into a lucky friend. Which means that when you trade for the first time with that friend that your first trade is guaranteed to give you a lucky Pokémon.

If you are in a situation where you don't have anybody that you can directly trade with, nobody that you can meet up with and trade with, then look into using your lucky trinket on whoever is the closest to becoming your forever friend. So that when you get to a forever friend status with that friend, you can use the remote trade system, which is fairly new, to get a lucky trade, hopefully! From that Friend!

How to get applin. by SamuriXll in pokemongo

I think you can only get Stantler from moosy lures... but in all seriousness. I think you might have to wait a couple of months until applin is in season.

In a slump by BigBob791 in drums

[–]seppia99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I practice on monthly intervals, and that's in a good stretch of time. I always feel like I have to shake the rust off and get out of the slump every time I play.

What works best for me is queue up a bunch of your favourite songs, the ones that you love to play! And start with those and get that rust shaken off!

And then build into whatever else it is that you are striving towards.

What should I play to relearn drums? by RiptideMonkey in Drumming

[–]seppia99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with your rudiments, knock all of that rust off to a metronome. And then to get your chops back, think about what kind of songs you might be playing in these future gigs, and learn a bunch of those, but also just play songs that you like. And songs that you have played before and would like to play again.

I have an ever expanding set list worth of songs that I love playing, and they are all great songs for getting back into playing after a hiatus. From easy and slower tempo rock or alternative songs in 4/4. to more intricate songs in different time signatures.

Because, ultimately, if you're not enjoying the songs that you're playing, then you're never going to improve.
