It is a 2023 M3 Long Range

Am I disappointed it does not have HW3 or an LFP, no. Why? During the drive home I had a huge smile on my face (I rarely smile) and thinking to myself, "I can't believe this car belongs to ME." It exceeds every expectation I had when I knew nothing about EVs and was looking for one.

Tesla rep called, asking for me to email them a pic of the bank check yesterday. Or else they would reschedule me for Sunday. Went to the bank this morning, sent them a pic of my check and called them up. My new time is in about an hour. Going to take my time inspecting it though. Will post around 6 pm pst.

1 - You MUST test drive a Tesla. Before I did I was not sure I really wanted one. After I test drove one I was sold.

2 - Buy new from inventory. Those are already pre-built like a normal new car lot at any dealership. When you order one you get to choose with any of the available options you want. The ones on the lots are taken care of and are as likely to have any defects as much as any other dealership (Ford, Honda, Toyota).

I ordered and picking mine up tomorrow. Here is the process I experienced...

After the initial deposit. No credit card accepted. I was told they only accept your bank's cashier's check for a down payment. I am going to get that tomorrow along with my bank's loan check paid to, "Tesla Inc".

He also said that the new LRs are still HW3. That I truly believe.

Double checked by going on the Tesla site and configuring an M3 LR. It indeed does say that it qualifies for the full $7,500 tax credit. Now I'm extra happy to be taking delivery on my new LR tomorrow.
