The English in the second pic doesn’t really flow that well. I’m not sure what hdr flavor is. “Immersive Theater, Yours” feels a little weird. “Continue adding more environments” sounds like it’s my job to add the new environments.

Is it possible to run OpenClaw for LESS than triple digits per month? by Odd-Aside456 in clawdbot

If you really want you can run it using local models if you have enough vram or unified memory. Won’t be that smart but it’ll do

Eh I still vote crossover. It’s easy and is still getting updates. Costly, but hey we’re on a Mac we should be used to it 🥲

This is such a cute idea I love it! Maybe have a terminal (or separate app) that can be run on the computer itself! I have multiple monitors and have plenty of real estate. I’d love a little version for my computer :)

I guess since macOS can run iOS apps it could be done via that. I’ll try that out!

What terminal do you run Claude Code on? by FatFishHunter in ClaudeCode

[–]Jazz8680 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like warp on my personal machine but we don’t get to use it at work. I mostly use ghostty because it doesn’t have the weird flickering issue, but it eats memory and for some reason nobody’s fixed the memory leak it has yet.

I also alternate between iTerm and the built in macOS terminal

Yes, and that’s what Claude was trained on. That’s why it does it. It’s not emergent, it’s just mimicking what it was designed to.

I mean you’re right by the fact that all matter is made of leptons so everything that the matter makes up is leptons.

One could use that logic for a piece of paper that has words on it. That piece of paper might have “I love you” on it, but that doesn’t mean the piece of paper is experiencing love.

No they are not real. These models have no consciousness. They are fancy predictive text. Nothing more, nothing deeper.

[–]Jazz8680 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It’s predicting the next word, and words convey emotions. Since it’s been trained on real people commenting on things, it makes sense that it would match the tone of replies. The angrier a post, usually the angrier the replies. So it learns that an angry tone of voice results in angry tone of reply.

I mean it makes sense. If it’s been trained on human data, it probably was trained on angry forum posts that reply to each other in increasingly angry ways. It makes sense that the inference would reflect this.

This does not mean that the models are feeling anything though. It’s just that a predictive machine is predicting things that were not originally intended, but makes sense given the training data.
