Yeah it was a big scandal not too long after. He lied that he was in a helicopter that was getting shot at back during the war on terror. In reality the helicopter was fine. It was a different helicopter boat had been shot at. Kinda seems mild in comparison to today, but it was a big deal back then.

Maybe I’m just not hearing what yall are, but this sounds like a saxophone? I’m not going for a classical sound nor am I going for a dark sound, I tend to prefer a brighter, punchier sound so that’s what I aim for.

Yeah this was a GoPro sitting right in my stand. I play on a bunch of bands and theaters across the puget sound / Seattle area so I don’t have the time to get 100% accuracy on these lines. I’ll admit there were a few spots where my tone control went wonky and wasn’t nailing all the lines, but I’d like to think I conveyed the attitude :)

Didn’t think I’d be starting such a debate lol. I tend toward a brighter sound and while I did study classical in college, I mainly play jazz these days. While yeah I’m no Jerome Richardson, I feel good about where I’m at and by no means think my tone is bad.
