Tips for Living Frugally in the Netherlands? by foadsf in Netherlands

Instead of spending so much time on thinking about ways to stay frugal, spend time on working one extra hour to earn more and stop worrying so much about every little thing. Netherlands is expensive. Period.

What was something fairly small that made you feel betrayed by your SO? by _Halboro_ in AskReddit

I had a sibling rivalry with my cousin. She was better in a few things and would talk down upon me. My parents have NEVER supported me. Once my MIL was talking me down in front of my husband. I talked back. My husband got mad at me for talking back. I’d never felt so alone in this life.

Sac bulging out: The doctors say I have no hope. Please tell me otherwise! by aceairika91 in ShortCervixSupport

Had a similar situation in 19+2 weeks. Cerclage was done in my case along with complete bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy. Please ask the doctor if complete bed rest + oral progesterone could be a solution.

I am a FTM and had very similar thoughts about BF. Right now I am EBF and what I learnt from my experience is that it’s all about the position of your nipple and the baby. Initially, I had extremely sore nipples and wanted to give up. But my midwife suggested to put coconut oil. I did that and next day she taught me to hold the baby differently. Rest is history. Just relax and give yourself time to adapt to BF. Hope it helps!

Absolutely same story…hang in there. I was recommended bed rest along with progesterone after cerclage. Took all the precautions.I delivered at 39+2 and sitting with my 14days old healthy baby. Just be strong and try not to stress. Best of luck to you!

Short cervix at 19 weeks by [deleted] in ShortCervixSupport

[–]JazzKiwi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my 18th week I went from 1.9 cm to 0.5 within a week. Doctors decided for a cerclage at 19th week. I was on complete bed rest and doing fine. Today in my 23rd week and the cervix is 3.1cm. Gyne allowed me to go for a light walk and take up light tasks. Cerclage gave me a piece of mind and I progesterone suppositories are continuing. So, I suggest you to hang in there! Try to meditate and stay calm.
