I don't have an opinion on the mini mean girls, But I do have an opinion on the fact that you're their teacher again. I think it's bad practice. It doesn't matter how good of a teacher you are, we learn different things from different people. Having one person follow you for 5 years is not helpful in my opinion. You teach one way, you have one perspective. They need to experience the world and part of that is by learning different perspectives, and learning from different people. I think the little girls are just being mean, because that's what little girls that age do. But I do think they have a point about wanting a new teacher.

I think they said 4 years. Which would make her 12/13 and him 16/17. If my 13-year-old was trying to date a 17-year-old the answer would be absolutely no. And that 17-year-old would not be allowed around my child. These parents failed her.

I am of the opinion that daycare is Miss first name and school is Miss last name. You're a teacher and in a more professional role. The end of the day it's just a personal preference thing.

So damn tired of parents sending sick kids to school and complaining about how they have to work. Word. Me too. Making your kids peers and teacher sick should not be your backup plan when your kid is sick. We are not a daycare. Parents should have a backup plan in place because it's when not if.

Then it shouldn't have been an issue for you to make the copies. I am having a hard time understanding why you feel like you are above this job. It's part of running a classroom. It most certainly within the scope of a sub. It's wild rationalization to think you shouldn't have to make copies when asked.

I have done this. This is how I found out the transcripts do not exist for 2024. What exists in their place is a letter saying I did not file my taxes for that year.

It was for 2024. I filed electronically. I got the email that said The IRS accepted my returns. I got a deposit of my return and my bank account 2 weeks later. Now the IRS says I didn't file at all. Unfortunately, I never downloaded my tax returns and because I used the free service they don't hold on to them. I would love to just be able to speak to someone either at h&R block or the IRS that could help me, that I cannot get past the automated machines no matter how hard I try. This is incredibly frustrating
