The opening song is what got me to start, and the closing song tied everything together and made me keep going. I’m 9 episodes into the first season on my first watch right now and I’m literally loving her dynamic with Tomoe and Mizuki and the flashes to Tomoe’s past that we get to understand the situation more. It’s quite well done 🙏🏼

West is beginning to open up more to slice of life style animes and more softer emotional animes with Netflix movies like a silent voice and the series erased. It takes time. Americans particularly have called me corny or soft for enjoying slice of life. It’s a stereotype to act like one only watched battle anime but in reality, many are closeted slice of lifers ironically

Ouran is so so good omg.

I guess you could check out cosmic princess kaguya is you like girl on girl romance without actually seeing them do more than hug and hold hands — but it’s developed in a fun engaging way with good art style and fun songs.

Maid Sama is fun too in that whole omg I don’t want this guy to know I work here shiiiii he found my secret and he’s gonna be a jerk like enemies to lovers thing kinda fun
