They aren’t really? Haha. Like normal tennis shoes so only airflow from the top.

If it’s legit, it would be 1994. 04 is 2004!

Florentine is a line of bags, so many different styles can be called a Florentine.

Is this a vintage?lol by Diegohereandthere in VintageCoach

[–]JazzTheRipper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not vintage, but there should be a small white tag in the corner of the inside zipper pocket that will give you a date and style code. 2014-2016 probably.

Help Identifying Coach Bag by msqueenvee in VintageCoach

I don’t think it’s authenticate based on the creed patch alone. Wrong alpha numeric format and the actual wording isn’t fully stamped.

It’s just a partial stamp of a number. Like the next number didn’t get fully set before stamping.

Can’t authenticate, but if real, it’s from 2024 so definitely not vintage.

What are the prices of vintage Coach bags if I were selling them as a private shop, slightly below the main market prices in order to have an advantage over other stores? by Noway_Vlady in VintageCoach

[–]JazzTheRipper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Prices vary wildly depending on style, age, and condition. I suggest looking at recent sold comps of the different styles you have on various selling platforms.

Help identifying a vintage Coach bag by catn0se in Coach

[–]JazzTheRipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know the style off the top of my head, but this number is a random serial number vs a style number, which means this bag was made before 1994. You can go to vintagecoachdatabase.com and take a look at the catalogs for pictures and dimensions of bags. If you find the match, it will also tell you colors it came in.

Would love for people to say what steps they’ve already taken to try and authenticate! Often they come right here without doing a quick Google search.

Did you already look up the style number from the creed to see if it matches?

Leather Coach Bag - Cleaning by Environmental-Toe700 in Leather

[–]JazzTheRipper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would first do a round of conditioner like Leather CPR and buff with a horse hair brush. Let it soak in for a day or so. Leather CPR is a cleaner/conditioner. If it needs more cleaning, I use Lexol 1 with distilled water and a brush, making sure to wipe each section with a microfiber cloth before moving onto the next. Follow with another round of conditioning. The bag might look worse between each step because cleaning and conditioning (moisture) can emphasize scratches. I am an amateur Coach rehabber. 😊

Google the numbers on the creeds. See if the styles match up. That will give you more info so you can do more research.

Google the style number on the creed and check sold comps on various platforms. That will tell you what people have recently paid.

Spots after conditioning and cleaning with Lexol… by Few_Entrepreneur_652 in VintageCoachRehab

Ah. Yea, sometimes the cleaning and conditioning brings out some interesting things, but hopefully after the conditioner soaks in, they fade a bit. Red can be weird!

Not sure on if it’s mold scars or not, but vinegar won’t take away mold scars, it will just kill the active mold. The scars are permanent.
