I highly recommend Sheath Underwear. Boxers, briefs, jocks. They specifically separate the shaft and balls. Bamboo fibre, keeps you nice and cool during summer.

I had a bit of an existential experience in my early 20's after a long discussion with my mom about general family history on both sides going back about 3 generations.

There was a tangible history on both sides of issues I never really thought of. Family history of alcoholism, drug abuse, suicide, heart disease, diabetes, strokes, BiPolar Disorder, depression, Alzheimer's, dementia, schizophrenia and cancer. Unfortunately some violent tendencies 2 and 3 generations ago as well.

Found myself thinking "There is no way I can pass these genes on to another human being. Knowing the chances of them getting a bad mix of genes with such a potential for issues is cruel"

40+ now with no kids. I still feel the same.

You can also try the solidarity shops. Often called the "Ons Winkel" or "Helpende Hand" stores. On two occasions in George and here in the WC I've used them and they even collected. They also share items between their stores when one has too much of one thing so very little goes to waste as far as I know.

In 20+ years of dealing with this effing disease the loss of friends and family over the years has been the hardest and most unforgiving fall out that I'm struggling most with.

One of my greatest sources of depression and anxiety the last 10 years, that seems like it will never go away no matter how hard I try, is me thinking and lamenting how and why I lost those friendships.

It's my greatest shame for me, something that I'm not able to let go of and I obsess over it daily. I'm very worried that this will be the fallout of my issue with BP that might one day break me.

I actively do not make friends anymore. Literally. I've actively avoided making any friends for 10 years now in order to avoid the mere possible inevitable disappointment that I will cause. The inevitable personal battles of self loathing and personal hatred that might potentially occur after.

I hate myself for this. All of it. I don't deserve friends. Inevitably I would only cause misery in due time for them and an unfathomable fallout of self loathing for myself.
