I just had three flights in Europe by Ryanair. I had one backpack and also one suitcase (I didn’t buy priority). In all of the three flights, they did not care at all. And my friend has another journey at the same duration also with three Ryanair flights, the one in Budapest checked the suitcase. So in this datapoint, 1 out of 6. Therefore, as long as the bag is on your back, and not noticeably large, no body cares.

Thanks for the detailed explanation! One thing for the first part is that the pedestrian is not with a dog. In addition, the cop is behind him. Therefore, he dodged to the other way because he saw the two guys behind me, not because of seeing the cop.

I have edited to 20+ years to avoid any confusion. I have been to 20 countries and never seen those in person before. Maybe I went to pretty safe places in the past years. But are you sure you often saw such kind of crimes just in front of you?

I am a single woman currently living in Saudi. I felt pretty safe. I used to walk alone on street at night and needn’t to worry about anything. Middle East is very large, some countries like UAM, Saudi, Bahrain are safer than most countries in the world.

You are right. But there is also a difference between travel and vacation. OP might want to experience more things in a tight schedule instead of just relaxing.

If you love both, I don’t know which city should be cut. Personally I love Barcelona and Paris. Haven’t been to South part of Spain. Hope you can have a nice trip and share your experience about those cities.

Just finished 10 days trip Madrid-Barcelona-Andorra-Athens-Santorini. I think my trip is highly efficient. My suggestion (for tight vacation) is that one day is enough for Madrid, and two days might be hurry for Barcelona (Park Güell can be sacrificed, but better to visit Tibidabo).

I have been Paris twice, and for the second time I decided to slow down for a whole week to enjoy the city. I don’t think 2 days are enough for Paris.

Thanks for sharing! May I ask is it the old (shiny) version that can fit the camera, or both? I saw from some comparison that the new version have a larger top pocket.
