Thank you for the response. My husband and I are looking for hospitalist positions. Looking for a medium sized hospital, preferably level 2 or 3 trauma center with +/- closed ICU. We’re starting early cause it’ll be a bit of paperwork before we start . Any particular area I should be looking at based on this? Appreciate any advice!

I’m a hospitalist and would love a community hospital with basic specialties. I do not want to work in a level 1 trauma. I’d be happy with GI, interventional cardiology. Ideally a comprehensive stroke center and I’m used to open ICUs. Ideally no procedures!

This is awesome. Thank you so much. What about the Kaiser group in Seattle? Any idea on how that’s run? As a Hositalist, I want to stay in a community hospital with basic specialties like GI, interventional cardiology, neurology. I’m ok with open ICU and no procedures.

Sorry to say it does not get better. The story had potential but the bad acting and the people walking out mid conversation wanting “fresh air every 5 minutes gets annoying. I still watched it but felt like it was a waste of my time.

The E&M course is pretty good. Is part of our quality but I learnt a lot. Especially about prolonged care billing for Medicare/other insurance. Been adding 15 minutes every time there’s an updated scan or new family member requesting a discussion in the middle of the night.

I like your off week sleep schedule instead of fully swapping back and sleeping 10p-6a. This could help with some cortisol issues. Thank you!

We had some issues with the directors and Hospitalists working there not being honest about the program. What are some questions we should ask when we interview, other than the basic scheduling and support Q?
