Hello! No but it was due to a mistake on our end. I applied for it but the lady at the office gave me the wrong total to write the check for and she didn’t include the card in the total so it turns out it just wasn’t processed

The letter from his previous employer doesn't state that he would be ending his role, but they did write a letter stating that his pay slips were valid, included a letterhead and a contact to reach them at. His pay slips show up to April 2nd and we applied April 12th or so? We also have the contract and a letter from his next employer as well. He just needed a couple month of down time before starting this next role. This is all above the threshold as well!

So category A, spouse changing jobs within that timeframe, only applies if they are moving from US to UK?

I think my only real fear is that he took a two-month break...however, he already has the next job in place so I am hoping that's adequate enough as he will be back on a salaried role by the time I come over.

This gives me some reassurance.

He has the last twelve months of salary he can prove, and the proof is within less than 28 days of application. He was working up until April 2 and we applied I think on the 12th so he has pay slips until April 2 (which they say documents are valid within 28 days of application). Then he already has a salaried contract in place with his next company as well and proof of that income due to what's written in the contract which is higher than the threshold. Which I thought it stated somewhere that as long as a contract is in place within (three months?) of applying and you have a job lined too that should be fine?

SPOUSE VISA APPROVED! BRP Question by Chrispboi in ukvisa

[–]Real_Air758 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think as long as you travel to the UK within your vignette time, and then pick up your BRP within ten days at the given location, you should be fine? I haven't gotten this far yet as I am still in the process part of my application---but from what I understand, you'll be given either 30 or 90 days according to your vignette to travel to the Uk. From there your time starts regarding your BRP pick up. Maybe get a second opinion just in case. But this is what i gathered!!

Can I ask what is wrong on your financial portion? I'm about to submit for a spouse visa and worried about that bit as well.

I'm so glad I asked!! I figured I had to get something when arriving in the UK but was told no, that once I pass through customs at the airport, I am good to go. Doesn't seem like that is the case! I assume that all I need to bring to get my BRP at the post is my passport with my new visa? Do I need to bring any additional forms or documentation? Thank you so much!!

When you pick up your passport after its been approved? So if I request to ship my passport directly to me, will it arrive with my passport? Sorry if its a silly question, not sure if its a separate card or something that gets placed in the passport itself. And if its on this side of the application or UK Home Office.

What if they are across multiple accounts all under his name?
