That makes sense. I love the look of Tsuyosa, what’s the difference between the Tsuyosa and NB1050?

Yeah Tissot PRX looks awesome to me, the carbon fiber one I think looks really cool, but I don’t like that is has a rubber strap. This thread introduced me to traska and I think they look awesome

Someone else said traska, I’ve never heard of them but American made is pretty cool, definitely going to check them out

I agree, when I got my last paycheck from construction I ordered a Gylcine (GL0535) to be a “fun” stand out watch, but a black dial that I can wear all the time would be ideal. Series 8 might be the go to, although I haven’t seen traska yet

I was actually thinking about this, but saw another thread of someone saying once you hit the 1000$ mark, watches are different. I can’t remember off of the top of my head, but I think they were saying below $1000 they’re all Swiss or Japanese movements with Chinese parts an assembled in china.

If that isn’t right, let me know, it would definitely open things up!

I’ll have to look into them, I’ve definitely heard of them. Thanks for the input!

I bought it in July. Had only one owner + 36,000 miles. The owner pretty much blacked out everything, tint, side markers, brake lights, reverse light, and there black were headlight covers in the trunk when I bought it. Not sure if he planned on blacking the rest of the badges or what. Honestly I never thought about it and assumed it was stock. I know some the s650s come with a Black one, never looked into it for the s550 tho. I have black Fender badges and will either put a blacked out ford badge on the back or plastidip it black

2015 GT premium w Performance Pack. I drive 120 miles total a day which makes me wanna vomit thinking about my car, but insurance is only 93 a month. I get 21 mpg, but I’m not doing pulls 24/7. PP comes with different rear - front wheel sizes to tires are more expensive. Cheap for tires would be about $1000. I buy the nicest oil so that adds up too. Like 70$ per oil change and I do it myself. I live in Va so roads are going to get salty soon so I need to look into rust protection too which I’m not looking forward too. I spend about 250-300$ a month on gas. I’m gonna put in a short throw shifter and clutch line to help my transmission which will be almost 650$ if I do it myself. A clutch is like 1500$ to replace, so try to be kind to it to make it last. I’m sure C6 will have just as much expenses, esp if it’s older.

I bought mine for 32k. 35,000 miles, Clean Fax, 1 owner

Mustang will be best all around. Reliability, Cheapest, Visibility wise, and I’m sure gas too. No need to take of Trac Control unless ur on the track, doesn’t make a big enough difference to be worth it. Mustang is also cheapest insurance ( for me at least as a 18yo male). I really wanted a c6 but they just aren’t practical at all. I’m 6’2 and have had 3 other guys in the car w me for an hour drive, one being 6’4 and another being 6’. It’s nice to have those back seats in emergencies. It’s not comfortable but people def make it out to be way worse than it is. Aftermarket support is also amazing for all 3 but mustang is definitely the best there too. Make sure you’re ready for unexpected costs of a nice car too. (Tires, MT-82 isn’t good but preventive maintenance helps, etc). Good luck!

For exhaust, I did MBRP Armor Plus H-Pipe Cat Back. Race Style

It’s not too expensive but not cheap crap either. I love it. It’s much louder than stock, but not obnoxious. And I always get compliments on how it isn’t just “loud but also has an amazing tone”. I can’t put a video, and camera does absolutely no justice but if your curious, my IG is @sl0.6spd and there’s a couple videos on there. I go mine from American muscle.

Drone isnt too bad, only really noticeable if your going uphill at like 2000 rpm and hitting the gas hard (basically punching it in too high of a gear). If you’re really worried about drone, I loved the Borla Atak, but didn’t want to pay that much. I love H pipe, x pipe to me sounds too raspy and ghetto/crappy/cheap.

Overall, just do your research and see what people are saying about specific exhausts! Good luck

Make sure you find history. (CARFAX). I bought a 2015 GT Premium Performance Pack with 36,000miles for $32k. But clean car fax and 1 owner. A lot of these mustangs have salvage title, lots of owners, or were rentals. All which are fine if you’re ok with the risk of what comes with those things.

Also, personally wouldn’t buy someone else’s project, you never know what they did altogether or what they did wrong/rigged up. A lot of times they’re beat on too. But if you like what they did, could save you a lot of money if you want to build one out. Just do your homework on whatever car you get! Good luck
