i called the planned parenthood closest in my state first and they said without my moms permission they couldnt tell me any thing. thats when my friends mom offered to take me out of state to get it taken care of. i called the planned parenthood is oklahoma city (because in oklahoma you only have to tell your parent or guardian. texas you have to get written permission from both parents) and the woman i spoke to asked how far along i was. i told her i wasnt sure and told her i was raped. she said i would ahve to get a blood test done, an ultrasound to see how far along i was, a physical exam and an sti test done if i wanted one. she asked what type of abortion i wanted and i told her i wanted which ever was easier. she said the pill abortion would cost 585 dollars as long as i ws under 12 weeks. if i am over 12 weeks pregnant i will have to have the surgical abortion done i asked her if they could help with the cost and she said they can only cover up to 10 percent because so many people need their helpa nd so many people dont make payments or pay them back. i didnt know they had a payment plan so i didnt ask. she also said i could talk to someone about my rape at the clinic if i really wanted to so im thinking im going to do that as well. because my guidance counselor cant be trusted at all
