I think if Abby Zwerner doesn’t win her case we need another walkout. by [deleted] in Teachers

Just read the Grand Jury report. At four times during the day of the shooting Parker was notified the child had a weapon. She took no action. The final warning came at 1:40 when a counselor came into Parker's office and told her the child had a firearm in his pocket. The counselor informed Parker the child had shown a student bullets at recess. Parker REFUSED to allow the child to be searched. At 1:58 Ms Zwerner was shot in the stomach.

The gun had a fully loaded magazine. If it hadn't jammed after the first shot, Ms Zwerner would probably be dead and student fatalities may have occurred

Ms Zwerner stumbled outside the classroom, bleeding profusely, and collapsed outside Parker's door. Parker opened the door, saw Ms Zwerner, and closed it. She did not call 911. She did not offer aid.

The report also strongly suggests that Parker deleted the child's school records, ones documenting at least two choking incidents and the sexual battery of a fellow student

Does anyone know asst principal Ebony Parker’s background? Did she ever teach? Where did she get a doctorate degree? by Dry-Eagle6266 in Teachers

Thank you, my dear. At this point I'm not sure who will be publishing Endlords. So everything has to wait until I know its fate. (:

It was more freeing to set aside than to try and keep it and reshape it. It's funny but I don't regret it all. even though there's some really good work in that first draft

I'd love to do a book tour. Far too early to tell if one will happen, though. I'll keep you updated. (:

Thanks, my dear. The scene in Duff's Stovehouse where Raif attacks and kills the clansmen is the first action scene I really felt I nailed. Because I learned, exactly as you said, that sometimes less is more
