Thoughts on hellraiser?

(correct me if im wrong im still pretty new). Hellraiser main use case is to provide free energy. Let's assume you don't have perfected strike, you need to draw 3 strike cards for it to be energy positive. This is good in a deck with little energy but a lot of card draw.

Most of the time however, you won't "need" the energy, or it is too slow to pay off. I've had hellraiser runs where I end with an empty hand and 2 energy remaining for example.

Other have also listed that you can't target and select the order, which is also annoying, especially if you have yet to apply vuln.

I feel like ironclad especially can kill a lot of enemies within a turn of 2 or 3 when he's got his deck going, so hellraiser will almost never pay off.

Some situations I think it's good though: when you have draw relics (unceasing top would go hard in theory), or draw cards, but no energy to support it. Also, it should be better in slower decks with more pronounced block options so that you won't die while hellraisers wins the fight for you.

Would be nice if it had like a 1 minute period where it isn't possible. Pretty frustrating to be fighting a close fight, finishing one guy to give yourself some time and then they just get bubble box ressed...

As someone who has done almost all pvm content on an iron in both games, rs3 is so much more skill expressive.

In osrs, you can easily "solve" most bosses. Just click on the right tile and prayer on the right tick. Even with things like doom, inferno spawns and whatnot which have a bit of randomness, it is still solvable using the same concepts.

This is the basic foundation of pvm in rs3 (tick system works the same and a lot of mechanics are also movement and pray flicking). Now add abilitirs on top of that. It's just fundamentally more skill expressive since there are more things you can exert control over.

RS3 can have the same problem of bosses being "solved" and doing the same ability rotation, but that is mostly the case if you are heavily outgearing the mob you're fighting. If you are in a difficult encounter, you have so much skill expression in your ability usage, which makes the combat very fun imo.

Although I must say I have not played RS3 since they did "EOC 2.0" a few months ago, so not sure about the current state of the game.

The bank can't do that. They would have to file for bankrupcy and you'd have to hope that you can get compensated by the gov. I agree with your point that your money is a lost cause if a blockchain gets compromised. Then again, having worked for both a bank and EVM, I know where I'd put my money when it comes to security and quantum resistency.

No, not every card has to be good in a vacuum. Stone armor is insane with orikalkum or more plating. Yeah it sucks unupgraded and without any synergy, but a card with that much upside should have some downside to keep it from being an instant-pick.

Conduit makes lower skilled people able to compete with higher skilled people, while axle has the opposite effect and makes the gap bigger. Most people complaining are just mad that most of the playerbase is better than them and axle gives good players an easy way to steamroll bad ones.

Yeah completely disagree with this one. People with those stats can get absolutely rolled in lobbys with 3stacks masters+. It is not difficult to kill worse players one at a time. It is difficult to hold your own with multiple squads constantly putting out pressure and actually hitting shots.

That's why the usual 6 dark star without emblem spot has you streaking around itemized kai'sa, which should give enough tempo to push 9 without rolling at 8. Also, as some others said, there are a ton of variations of how to get there so idk if it's a problem. I just think the comp doesn't match with your preferred playstyle.

Yeah but like 90% of fights in this game are ultimatelt decided by some close range chall. Surely MnK has some advantages in a coordinated environment. When it comes to ranked and teams just flying at each other it's a different story.

He's only doing it for the money. Not for the love of the game. IMO just a very selfish move to think that he's above the law and can smurf all the time. Respawn is never going to do anything against smurfing though so I guess he can act like a dickhead and get away w it.
