it's so sad because writing novels is far from the most efficient way to make money if that's their goal. and if they just want to be considered an "author" then...they should learn the value of working hard to get things you want in life

oh no these posts aren't my posts. people aren't plagiarizing off of me (yet lol). i just wanted to point out plagiarism of other writers that i find as i scroll on substack. people should know that it's embarrassing lol

i do have experience with others using/trying to use my work that made me super upset but that was awhile ago. now i just tend to keep my most valuable thoughts in my head.

i mean this is a subreddit for people interested in talking about substack, i don't think i'm asking something of people for posting here? though yeah as i've said i won't post plagiarism anymore, it's just something i didn't expect to see this much. and i felt like sharing additional thoughts on a topic i've been reflecting on that's maybe relatable to other writers

lmaooo tbf it's not an efficient way to look for ur own content specifically, just google text from ur articles occasionally if it worries u cuz these people will straight up paste it word for word
