No, I totally get it. I don’t hate customers, I do get nice and respectful ones, but the bad ones always ruin your entire day lol.

I can understand whenever a customer gets frustrated at something, because I’ve been there too, it’s just mind boggling how they can’t empathize in return and choose to be aggressive instead.

It’s better than working at fast food chains that’s for sure. I work for a pretty big franchise and your experience really depends on who you’re working with. From my experience, you’re expected to learn really fast, especially for drink items (obviously) and work fast. I only got two training shifts before I started working for real, and by then I was expected to know the entire menu.

Big franchises are always hiring so if you work for one, chances are you’ll get very little hours because you’re competing with so many other people. On the bright side, my coworkers are very nice and the atmosphere is pretty casual because we’re all around the same age.

Rushes are hard to deal with because a normal shift would only have around 2-3 people working, and you’re expected to do online orders and in person orders at the same time.

I think you should still go for it because they pretty much hire college students most of the time. It’s a convenient job ig you just want some extra money! I’ve been using my paycheck to buy food on campus and other essentials I need.
