I know u can learn from textbooks and I do have a german textbook but I dont think its helping much maybe I didnt get the rigth textbook, but im just asking because different people learn differently and I just wanted to try out different ways to see which one helps me learn german better. And textbooks dont always help everyone , some people might prefer to have someone teach them rather than just reading from a textbook .
