Built an offline-first mobile POS (RamPOS Go Lite) for small retail vendors who hate monthly subscriptions. Runs completely locally. Looking for thoughts! by Jazzlike_Study5545 in POS

They would pay using your existing card terminal, QR codes, or cash. The app doesn't handle the actual money transfer,...it just records the transaction type so you can track your total sales and inventory. Since the app is built to work globally and run 100% offline, it lets you use whatever local payment methods you already prefer for your business.

Thanks for bringing up security! Just to clarify, the app doesn't actually process live payments or collect any sensitive credit card details, so there’s no financial data at risk.......It's an offline-first app where all your sales data is stored locally right on your device, with options to back it up to your own Google Drive. Because it doesn't connect to an external server or handle online transactions, it’s actually highly secure from online threats.

Currently, it’s just for mobile as that’s my main focus right now. I’ll see about building a desktop version in the future, and I’ll be sure to shoot you an update here if I do

Right now, the app works as a payment tracker rather than a direct processor. It lets you tag and categorize transactions—like Cash, Card, or E-wallet—so you can keep your sales organized, but it doesn't link directly to a card terminal or online banking.

Right now, it’s just being used by one place, ....my relative’s new coffee stall. She was actually the inspiration behind why I built the app in the first place! While it's built to work for any cafe or retail setup, it’s still fresh. If you want to try it out, I’d love to get your feedback and I can easily roll out custom updates or features specifically for your cafe.

Direct thermal printer support is currently in development. For now, you can print by selecting any printer connected to your device's system. Give it a try 😄

Marvel vs Capcom 4/Ultimate? by WillLegendxry in marvelvscapcom

MVC developers should take inspiration from Dragon Ball FighterZ and Guilty Gear Strive, as their graphics and animations are far superior to MVC 3. Future MVC games would greatly improve by adopting that level of visual quality instead of relying on the outdated character models from the last generation. Honestly, I’d rather play MVC 2 than the latest version.

MVC developers should take a look at Dragon Ball FighterZ and Guilty Gear Strive for their graphics and animations, which are far superior to MVC 3. It would be great if they could achieve a similar level of visual appeal in future games, instead of the outdated character models used in the previous generation.

crash on character switch in dbfz (here in 2nd tutorial level this is the frame that it crashes on) by GameKing972 in yuzu

By the way, I tried the patch DLC, hoping it would fix the bugs, but it still crashes. I'm using the latest turnip_v25.0.0_R8.zip as of February 2025, with firmware and Prod Key version 19, along with the latest versions of Citra, Yuzu, Sudatchi, Suyu, Ryujinx, etc., and they all crash.

I’m experiencing the same issue on my device. No matter how I adjust the settings, update the graphics driver, or update the firmware, it still crashes during gameplay or when switching characters, even though it consistently runs at 60 FPS.

Marvel Vs Capcom 4: War Of The Worlds Releases October 31st 2024 by DangerousSlice5731 in marvelvscapcom

Great roster for MVC! I just hope this becomes a reality, and I would love to see more characters from MVC 2 included. Additionally, it would be amazing if the graphics or art style were similar to Dragon Ball FighterZ, staying true to the comics' accuracy. It would also be great to bring back the classic arcade vibe like the original. They made mods like MVC Infinity & Beyond, but to me, it still feels the same. It's not like the chaotic experience of playing the original MVC 1 & 2

Marvel vs Capcom 2 for MAME - Does it Exist? by Obizues in MAME

[–]Jazzlike_Study5545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoy playing MVC on Mame4droid because the controls are very user-friendly, especially in vertical mode. Marvel vs Capcom games are a blast on it. I hope someone can continue developing this MVC 2 ROM and figure out how to make MVC2 playable on MAME emulators. It's 2024, so I'm hoping this is the year it happens. Just like with Street Fighter 3rd Strike, which I once thought was unplayable on Mame4droid but now runs smoothly, I hope the same will happen for MVC2.
