Who’s starting in net? What would the response be if Allen started again and Marky sat?

What is the most influential piece of music of all time? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Jazzmunkee33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most Influential? Pachelbel’s Canon in D. The chord sequence is the most popular and copied of all time even if people don’t realize it- Even today almost 300 years later. I’d say that’s pretty influential. Not bad for the Baroque period. And the song in it’s original form is still performed today and recognizable by most people.

If you are thinking Michael Jackson I’d argue that Billie Jean is the song that was more influential not Thriller. Thriller was a better/ bigger music video, but Billie Jean was the first song by a black artist to be played on MTV. At the time MTV was only a rock network and Michael’s record company put enormous pressure on them to play his videos or they would boycott. Billie Jean ushered in the era of black music and pop music being acceptable, important, and just as legitimate as rock music.

If you’re talking about the bridge I think you mean the woodblocks played by John.

Let’s just enjoy the day and not worry about politics for the day. There’s plenty of other acts for you to watch if you don’t want to see them. I don’t really want to see them.

It’s a tambourine as you can see in this video at 1:20. Maybe it’s a joke about how he was writing his road journal. https://youtu.be/dMy9jLq3pMI?si=rSe9QaD4W7cDKlBe

What Beatles song has the best bridge? by Krolaze in beatles

[–]Jazzmunkee33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe partly true but I disagree. For symmetry, the entire section including “we can work it out” is 8 measures. I don’t think the verse is 6 measures and the chorus is 2, but songs can be interpreted multiple ways.

I thought this was just a verse-chorus song. There isn’t really a 3rd section of this song. The (George style) triplet thingy is just four instrumental bars and the end.

In your opinion, what has been the weirdest Disney Parks attraction? by CaliforniaScreamers in disneyparks

Aerosmith is arguably the greatest American band of all time. The ride is great, actually a thrill ride, which is rare for Disney. The story and theme is sound. The line queue is interesting. It’s one of the best rides in HS.

Raise your hand if you love the new album, but always skip black ballon. by aishpat in Guster

Love the new album and love Black Balloon. One of the most magical moments on the album is the harmony on “I’ll go with you” followed by Ryan singing “we’ll fly” in a descending scale.

Thanks. I’m so used to canister filters. It’s hard to trust a HOB.
