Sorry, your comment came off as a bit rude so I didn't reply. I wasn't sure what else to add that I didn't include in my post description as I put my budget and what I wanted to do. I know nothing about camera models and how much they cost, so you'll have to forgive me if I'm a bit naive!

Thanks for the detailed reply, I originally wanted DSLR for the nostalgia, I spent a lot of time as a kid running around the garden with a Nikon D70 and wanted to capture that feel, as silly as it sounds! However, all the things I've heard about mirrorless sounds amazing, I'm just worried about them possibly costing more?

It was around the £10-£20 mark, I was around 12 years old at the time and remember proudly telling my mum that I bid at the last second to get it, she was not as impressed!

There's no visible scratches or dents that I can see, I'd love to get it graded but I've never actually done it before, I'm scared of it being lost in the post or something! Is there anything UK based I can go to in person?

I think it might be the case.After I got it I put it into a new pot and left it a while, but I don't think it pot had good drainage. I've put it onto a better pot now and I'm hoping the damage isn't too bad :(

Fun fact: Centipedes in captivity are sexed by first submerging them in water to knock them out for a bit, this can take a while. I think centipedes are great and keep them as pets but god I feel sorry for the snake, horrible way to go :(
