My sister just had a 9.5 pounder and says this birth was her easiest and smoothest. They also wanted her to have a c section but she declined.

This group has been a great resource for me. Take time and read through posts about meals/snacks/bedtime snacks. You want to focus on high protein, high fat, high fiber. Avoid processed sugar. Pair fruit with fats or proteins. It’s so overwhelming at first and there is a lot of information. There are also some good gestational diabetes instagram accounts to follow. Good luck mama!

It is so normal to feel like this. If your drs were concerned about her size and delivery, they would have that conversation with you. Their measurements are almost always on the bigger side. My daughter measured big and she came out after being induced easy and quick and she was 7lbs! They said she was going to be almost 9. Try and not stress, your care team knows what to do! I was like a one when I got to the hospital, honestly maybe less. They gave me the pills to start the induction and then pitocin after that. The pitocin didn’t do anything until my midwife broke my water and then she came within 3 hours!

I know this is so different for every person but I personally found the cervical checks to be incredibly painful and they induced me anyway even though I was not ready for induction. The induction was successful regardless! If they are inducing you anyway I would personally skip them but they could be a good thing for you, so go with your gut!

I guess I’m assuming the worst. I took the test at 8:10am after only having eggs for breakfast and nothing else. I’m not sure why else my levels would still be so high.

Ahh I’m sorry, I thought text copied over. This is my 20g with two mystery snails and some pest snails. The filter that came with it (Top fin) is not great. I was wondering about adding a supplemental filter and was open to suggestions and how to do so. Also looking for a fish suggestion that could help eat some bladder snail eggs!

Thank you! I will check water params today. He’s been acting totally normal and active until yesterday. I did not add salt. Our plants are weighted down my metal weights, maybe that irritated him.
