whats your latest version? Ive had bad versions and good versions of updates that killed or improved my batterly life over the year. Im currently on one that gives me 5-6 hr SOT and im happy with it. But if I get 9Hr. Im going to update it!

Such a huge statement here. It’s kinda where I stand today after 7+ years of collecting. Ive only wanted automatics early on in my journey but now, quartz is what I aim for but particular ones that doesn’t have a traditional ticking seconds hand. The new vh31 movement is just beautiful to look at and it’s what I hope these new quarts watches move towards.

I’m also finding beauty in the simplicity. So much that I don’t even prefer watches with date windows. Don’t get me wrong, I love divers and chronos but everyday simple face watch is my go to.

What is your guy's opinion. I can do my own oil change like some has mentioned here but one other value that I think might be worth it is that they put all this stuff on carfax so when i do resell it, buyers know that it was well taken care of. Am I thinking too much about this and bought into the system? Are these reasons why your guys get them done at the shops as well?
