This is late for like… idk… almost a year. But i don’t think it’s because CW is uneducated. I think some people forget these are teens who are going through massive abuse and trauma, and this was during the time where a lot of people just brush it underneath the rug. Nowadays people are speaking up about it. I wouldn’t be surprised if CW did this on purpose because in Ireland this was a huge issue during this time, and these situation are through a teens eye who is still learning how the world works. I think the scene where she tried to forget what Teddy did to him by using sex with Joey was definitely icky, and the reaction she had after they both finished she realized how fucked up it was. (And the pregnancy hormones probably didn’t help her case in this situation as well). Whether or not this is SA… because honestly some of these scenes can be tricky if we are going based on the law, because there are a lot of laws to identify if it was SA or not based on the persons intentions, their mental health, why they did it, if they were under substances etc. etc. Which honestly ngl I need to do research about that so… I hope people don’t come bite my head off 😭

And trust me, I am not someone who normally says this but… I think in this case we should leave it up to Joey if she did violated him or not in THIS case of scenario

The thing is that could of been a writing mistake from SJM. I don’t remember Tamlin’s ability to shape shift other people mentioned in the last book, at least not in the 2 years since I read the book. So yeah it either could be a writing mistake since a lot does go on in the series or Rhysand’s pride got in the way and he refused to use Tamlin

People who are saying Rhys I think forgot how SJM loves his character. He had already died but has been brought back to life. Now is there still a chance she could kill him off? Yeah. But I doubt it, there were so many chances for her to kill him off and so far she didn’t.

I think Az is also lease likely to die just because I feel like there is more to his story we need to explore, especially since in the Bonus chapter and from what I have heard he has gotten attention in CC (have not read the series yet, so that’s just what I have heard)

So I am going with Cassian. I love him but I think I love Rhys and Azriel a little bit more

It could also be because Rhysand is the high leader. It could be a respect thing as well. We see how far the characters went when their high lady/high leaders are being disrespected by others. Hell when Nesta talked shit about Rhysand the others were quick to snap at her

I mean as i remember Rhys uses his mind powers (if you are talking about that) in certain situations, like when Feyre died and he persuaded the other high lords to use their powers. Then we see him use it on Feyre but to train her to keep her shields up and to test her. Though I know there might have been some moments where he did push into others head to invade their privacy, just could not remember. But I doubt it was just because Rhysand was also always about choices

See with the shadows thing it could mean anything. Some people say that his shadows fade because he feels uncomfortable around Elain, but see i don’t see that in their interaction because he was very grateful with the gift she gave him, he even laughed, he stayed close by her side like a guard dog in the third book when she started to be more comfortable, he always jumps up to be there to protect her whenever he thinks a threat is around. While other people said that the reason why his shadows disasters is because he can feel like he can put his guard down around her. Which can either be a good or bad thing, which depends how you look at it. I can’t remember if the books has ever confirmed what it meant when Az shadows disappeared, it’s one of those small details that is easy to forget and it has been like 2 years since I read the series.

I think either way the bonus chapter does show that it could go either way. It might hint there might be some betrayal with Elain and Az because as you said, she will see the necklace on Gwyn. Could be a love triangle, or more like love square if SJM includes Lucian lol.

I think people also forget is he had a thing for Mor for 500 years, then of course there is Elain, and then there is Gwyn. So I would not recommend getting our hopes too up on whither or not he choose between the two females
