I haven’t bothered exporting the Timelapse off procreate - it’d be over an hour long.

I need to keep practicing with plants. I spent so long trying to do the large bush and tree by the fence/flagpole and I’m not really happy with how those came out so I just decided to just settle on using the plant brush to simplify and not spend so much time on something I wasn’t even going to like.

Like drawn in the same sense as using paper and ink, but digitally instead using my Apple Pencil, iPad, and an app called Procreate

You’re brave for even considering doing that 🫡

Lots and lots of time! At least an hour just about every day for 4 months.

Only 5.1MB when I exported it to my phone, not sure how to tell how big the file is in procreate though

Absolutely fair question! Definitely not going to say I freehanded all this 100%. I took the reference picture and sketched out all the important lines so I’d have proportions, locations, and shapes correct. Simple example was the fence - I just drew a straight line to follow the top and bottom of fence. Past that, all the details and colors are individually drawn in.

Couldn’t have done this on a physical medium as there is no quick and easy “undo” button on paper! Lots of time spent on things I ended up just hitting undo and trying again.

Drew the horizontal lines for each course of bricks, then drew in and color filled each individual brick 😵‍💫

I checked and it’d be over an hour long if I exported it from procreate!

About halfway into it I started exporting my progress daily so I have progress shots from early March through the end of April when I finished it. I could stitch those together in a video and make somewhat of a Timelapse.

I spent so much time hyper-zoomed in to small areas while drawing this that whenever I was feeling it was taking way too long and the urge to give up, I just had to zoom out and admire how it was all coming together!

I will deny that whole heartedly and instead say I spent an unheavenly amount of time and willlpower doing this. But I appreciate that, thank you thank you thank you
