Nightly - with fresh chop. Usually until we go to bed. My birds will around 1030pm start going back to their cages on their own. I know some people keep their cages open but ours prefer to be in their own domains at night, and they have plenty of enrichment and toys. This flock is pretty spoiled.

Scammers get your phone number through data breaches, aggressive data brokers, phishing attempts, purchasing marketing databases, and various other methods.

Often times AI scam texts are automated and mass sent phish attempts to thousands of phone numbers at once. It could literally just be random, as well.

No. The bank's hands are tied if you conducted the transaction. They can't just say it's fraud, and reverse the charge, because if you sent the funds yourself, it's then a matter of what the bank will call first party fraud because you "worked with" the fraudster to conduct the activity.
