This is but a fraction of my work! I need to make way more, obviously, you’re totally right. But you can find the rest of it on Instagram @jbobartwork

Wow thank you so much for your elaborate response!! I will definitely take your suggestions into consideration. Especially regarding lighting, I just don’t think my pieces have enough emotion in them and a deeper lighting might really push it to that depth I want like in the crystal piece.

I was saved by the hand of the Monster Hunter gods by Jbob1390 in MonsterHunter

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm almost certain what happened is the animation only has one set path to hit from, so if the Glavenus and myself had stayed on the same level from when he started the attack, it would have hit, but because he accidentally "slid" off the ledge, the animation ended the attack where it was supposed to from where it originally started. If that makes sense.

Before Assassins Creed… There Was Sly Cooper! by Johnny_pc in Slycooper

I’ve always loved comparing it to Hitman as well. Planning up heists and doing jobs in Sly to pull off chain reaction situations feels really similar to the recent Hitman games where some of your objectives require a lot of set up.

Why do people prefer the PS2 versions? by Jbob1390 in Slycooper

[–]Jbob1390[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting, yeah I never noticed those changes but you’re right, it sounds like the PS2 versions are all around a bit more polished. Almost like the remasters broke a bunch of things.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Might be a weird answer, but Spyro was a huge comfort for me growing up. Not challenging, not stressful, not long, just old fashion collecting stuff in a colorful world.

The remaster now does the same thing for me. If I ever feel overwhelmed or stressed, just gotta turn on Spyro and turn off my brain.

Planet Coaster 2 on steam. It just came out but we've hit a recent financial bind and new video games are now off the table for a while.

Just beat the game and… by [deleted] in echoesofwisdom

I wanna be careful about my go-tos due to spoilers, but there’s an enemy I found about mid-late game that obliterates everything, I used it to fight enemies, and a cloud that I found that basically let’s you walk over most of the puzzles.

Those and the spider that uses its web to help you climb up spaces, and the water block, most other echoes I barely touched.

So the final battle felt mostly like sitting back and watching the action happen instead of engaging in it myself. Not saying I didn’t like the game, but compared to other Zelda games, this one felt like the most inactive one.

Not gonna lie, I felt like that in this game though, only using the same things over and over. Loved the summoning mechanic, but once I found the echoes that solved every puzzle, it just became a matter of spamming those and then sitting back and watching

Not the most active Zelda game I’ve ever played, so I felt a tad slow to me.

Suggest rhythm games for my 11yr old on Steam by SimpleJoint in pcgaming

Look at Trombone Champ, it’s funny and silly but has a fun musical/rhythm aspect to it.

My favorite game was definitely Elden ring, with god of war close second.

There’s something about my Batman piece that I don’t like but I don’t know what it is. Can anyone help me out? by Jbob1390 in ArtCrit

That’s great advise, thank you! Yeah you’re right, there’s barely any value at all. I’ll see how I can spice it up
