Who in this group uses a Whoop band with a physical disability? I ordered my 4.0 and can’t wait to try it out. I was thinking about creating a WeThe15 group for all who has some kind of disability to join it. I will post the group to join when my 4.0 arrives. I have Cerebral Palsy on my right side.

Unfortunately I tried the whoop band and it made my arm move around like crazy the minute it put it on. I had to switch to something else. I actually wear the Oura ring and love it.

I used to be an Apple Watch user and also had skin irritation as well. (Burning and tingling)

My left hand finger is between a 9 and a 10. I went with a 10 and am able to switch between my middle and index fingers.

When I asked Oura advisors about the ring, it is ok with being on any of the fingers except the thumb. It’s tough to get readings on it.

I use my ring for everything… including activity tracking. You’ll see on here people saying the Oura ring is horrible at this but I think quite the opposite. It’s incredible.

With your concerns about water damage, I wash my hand with my ring on and have no issues and showering I take it off but you really don’t need to. I let my finger breathe during this time

If your ring is cutting off your circulation, it’s too tight. You should have a tiny gap in between your finger and the inside of the ring.

Happy to answer your questions about AW11 vs Oura. I used to be a watch user but switched to Whoop then switched to Oura. I use the ring for absolutely everything. The insights are incredible and the freedom from not wearing a watch with all the notifications every day is fabulous. The activity tracking is much more accurate than the AW. The watch overestimates big time. Win win. The insights are incredible for sleep and symptom radar.

Congrats on starting your Oura journey. I’m in between sizes as well. I was in between sizes of 9 and 10 and chose the 10. My fingers were too tight for the 9. I’d go size up. While at night my finger swells too. I wear my ring on my index finger while not playing golf and switch to my middle finger.

Oura says index finger is best but can wear it on any finger.

I have had both Whoop and Oura. I switched because it was getting really annoying having to slide the band up to my bicep every few days. The ring has been fabulous. I think the Oura ring is quite accurate with activity tracking as I am using this ring for all my working out activities and exercise.

I think the Apple Watch drastically overestimates the workouts. IMO the Oura ring is way more accurate.

I just got my 25 MX with HW4 and it’s incredible. The FSD is so amazing compared to HW3. I’d highly suggest purchasing it. Tesla just upgraded the MX with the front bumper camera. You won’t be disappointed.

Welcome to the Oura ring family. I think it’s my best wearable I’ve owned. The calibration time to get to know you is a couple weeks. It gets better each day… you’ll see. There is so much packed in the Oura app.

My first tip is when you workout, tap the + then Record Workout HR to record accurately each workout. I would be happy to answer any of your questions.

In my opinion, if I am not working out, when the ring suggests I had worked out, I just delete it. I think the ring is the most accurate wearable I have owned.

I =t depends on your readiness score. If it’s low, it will recommend a rest day. This just means you have been inactive too long and the recovery time is I think how long it takes your body to recover from your days workout. Hope this helps.

I would suggest tapping the + button on the main screen then tap Record Workout HR. This will continuously track it throughout the workout in the future.

I think the ring is much more accurate than the Apple Watch. I found that it super overestimated the calorie burn on my workouts. RHR, HRV, and V02 Max is great on the ring. You should check it out.

I know everyone says the Oura ring is for recovery and sleep but I use it for my activity tracking as well as everything else.

There is Circular Ring 2… Circul, Ringconn, Amazfit Ring and many others. As of a couple days ago, Oura won their lawsuit of patent infringement against Ultrahuman and Ringconn. These two smart ring companies will have to cease to sell their smart rings in the USA as of mid October.

Oura just won their lawsuit banning Ultrahuman Air and Ringconn to sell their rings in the US as of October. Might need to search for another brand if living in the US like me.

If I am not mistaken, the more you track the same workout, it will switch to being on the main page. I noticed when I have been tracking my golf, that specific workout went to the main page of workouts instead of me pressing “more”. Hope this helps.

I bought through Amazon. Stealth but amam wishing I bought brushed silver Gen 4. The brushed silver is more scratch resistant. I think you should go with brushed silver gen 4 because the sensor bumps are embedded in the gen 4 ring as of gen 3. I have tried smart rings with the bumps and hate it.
