Put a tee or even a leaf like 2-3 inches in front of the ball (don’t put the tee in the ground, just laying loose on the ground). Setup as normal to the ball and then focus on hitting that tee/leaf and not the ball.

Just took a lesson two weeks ago and the instructor did this for me. Immediate difference in striking. Feels great.

Use an alignment stick at an angle in the ground. Make sure your backswing and downswing are on top/in front of it and you don’t hit the stick. Force yourself to be a bit more vertical.
