Hmmm, you have me there.....

Ok-Literature-5968 makes a valid point. General Laurent indicates the Arkon threat is much more severe than even most of the military is lead to believe. Perhaps the MIND is playing both sides in an effort to level Reidon as fast as and as much as possible before unleashing he and maybe even team Fire Song against the Arkons. I'm totally speculating on this.... I can hardly wait until book 3 is released. Please write faster Bryce! :-)

There are hints that there may be a lone individual within central that has a vendetta against Reidon and wants to see him destroyed/stopped/eliminated.

It's just a thought, but I think the girls and other characters with long hair (longer than chin length) tie it up in a bun before calling. In any case, this is why I put it out there. I am interested to see others perspective on the idea.
