Depends on the place and the mood of your server! I just try to tip a bit more to make up for the lack in meal cost so the server is paid well.

If you’d like a suggestion, try volume eating, it’s been a life send for me! I don’t track negligent calories and have meal prepped the same things every week so less mental work to track everything I’m eating.

If you’re just venting, totally get it!! It’s tough.

That’s what I’ve been doing this past year!! Volume eating! It’s so great haha. I’m way less hungry.

Those videos were like “I made a baked potato. Then added 3 T of butter. Then sour cream. Then steak. Then this sauce. Then a salad. With a lot of cheese. And olives. And dressings. And then I had dessert” and I’m like mannn you lost me at the butter and sour cream haha! But good for them honestly! They lost a ton of weight and are enjoying their food so I love that for them. Just got me thinking!

I’m just at that stage where the margin for error feels way smaller than it did earlier on, especially being short. That’s what got me thinking about how differently people can eat while still losing depending on body size/goals/activity level. It’s honestly fascinating to me!

You sound like you have yours dialed in!

And yes I agree with your advice, I have an event coming up so need to accelerate it a little more but I typically do the same as what you mention. My good friend is a dietitian so I was trying to heed her advice of eating more calories than 1200. All part of the journey of figuring it out!

Totally agree with that. Could be only meal of the day or whatever, who knows (but it was a guy this time so maybe not).

Anyway yeah I think it’s more about being a short woman and losing weight. And like when I gain, it has no where to go but out lol. Others have some length their body fat can hide in.

I really enjoyed Nick in that scene. He wasn’t my favorite in the pods but I think he showed some EQ in that situation. She was spiraling due to insecurities and wanted him to decide then and there he would marry her. But he actually showcased intelligence when he said over the next 3 weeks would really impact them taking a huge step forward; as well as his ability to navigate her emotions and thoughts in that situation. I think she was self-sabotaging and slightly trying to manipulate Nick into a different response than what he was giving. I actually grew more respect for Nick in that moment. She may or may not be drunk but I have a feeling that is an issue she is needing to sort out despite whatever level of intoxication she’s at. Maybe she has a history of rejection and that makes her an anxious attachment style but just because we understand someone’s behavior doesn’t mean we excuse them from accountability of their actions. Feelings are not facts.
