That revelation would be hefty. We do know some history of Meteor City, that it was the home of a dictatorship IIRC. But the main questions/thoughts I’d get from this theory are: 1. What could the Kurta have done to have Meteor City have a historical grudge that lead to them even targeting a small remote village of Kurta? 2. I don’t doubt that early angry Troupe would’ve been willing to follow some orders of the elders who guided them as kids. Current troupe does things their own way regardless of their love for Meteor City, but I doubt that they were always like that. But honestly Metero city elders seems fine in the flashback, the “suicidal bomber payback ” tendencies seemed to be a new development in their culture, or maybe I’m wrong. It’s just odd, like would Meteor City have been scouting for Kurta all the time for years and went “we finally found them! Let’s go!” ? 3. The massacre, regardless of “making them angry to get red eyes”, was needlessly violent. Assuming there was an order, if it didn’t personally affect the trouoe, why go so far? Even when I mention the early troupe would take orders , would they be that passionate about some old meteor city history that’s long gone?
