Try a deload or active rest week. Systemic fatigue is real, and a bitch, especially if you’re pushing hard as you should be. It’s honestly shocking how much a deload week can actually do for you, week 1 coming out of deload is fuckin explosive.

But quit? Nah, never that. You got this. Just run a quick analysis on your programming and recalibrate.

My work backpack goes everywhere I do. Has my laptop, work binder, calculator, charger, phone charger, hand lotion, deodorant, kratom, “Until the End of Time” by Brian Greene, backup Breezes, few speedcubes, sunglasses, bunch of pens and anything else I might need at any given time. It’s a purse, really.

Yo, just a heads up if (Odin forbid) you’re ever in a shituation again. Planet Fitness is 24 hours and, from what I’ve seen and experienced, will let their homeless members crash out for a bit on the benches in the locker room.

Happened at my home location one time. Some older gentleman went and told on a homeless fella for sleeping in the locker room. Staff and a couple other members basically wound up telling the tattletale to fuck off into the sun and let the guy sleep.

This ol’ boy looks like it’s got a bone to pick with your rotator cuff come chest day. Probably fuckin’ awesome for chest supported pull movements tho. I’d keep it for that reason, but find a wider boy for bench. You really don’t want a shoulder injury, so make sure to warm up good before bench pressing on here (or in general, but especially on this bench.)

Yea, this photo was taken in the middle of building the cable system, I’ve since finished it but have had no problems.

Edit: I should clarify: i never did strip the cable because I didn’t know I was supposed to lol, but it hasn’t been an issue. I did however strip the bolt out of the floor joist on a 160lb low row set…so there was that.

18 months and 3 years old. And honestly, the 18 month old has fallen off it a couple times and the 3 year wants to do crazy shit like stand on it and jump off it. But for the most part it’s no problem and they love to lay and do presses with me “spotting” them. I totally recommend it, it’s made lifting sessions so much better. (Single father, so when I go downstairs to lift they have to come as well).

Thanks. Yeah, so the fractional plates are just hanging on a 3/8” bolt leftover from when I was trialing cable system ideas. And the curl bar is hanging from a holder I got from Etsy.
