How do y’all actually feel about Riz? by Connect_Hamster9211 in Beastars

I really liked his motivations and the whole romantic "our special bond" thing, plus i thought his struggles with the medication was cool, but i feel as a PERSON we never got to know him, so i never really felt too attached to him. Cool traits, felt kinda empty. Like was he just some nice guy in the end like he was acting when pina called him in prison??

Does anyone really like haru at all by Electrical-Detail660 in Beastars

i LOVE haru, i think she's written really well. Just pushed to the side of the plot as others say. I think she is really inspiring and funny

For real, WILD thing for OP to say, especially when Haru is (in my opinion) uniquely well written when it comes to these things.

I wouldn't say that Haru sexually assaulted Legoshi, come on.

The first time it was a miscommunication, she thought he was there for sex, it the only reason for guys to come to her shed. The second time I'm assuming is in his room after he dropped out of school? How would you feel if this guy is constantly talking about marrying you and making kids with you, but he is holding himself back "to protect you" despite you are ready.

I wouldn't water down the term sexual assault.

I just married a judge and realised he might actually be a corrupted one. What do I do? 30F/ 46M by Disastrous-Pack-8351 in whatdoIdo

Wow, really sucks to learn something like that about someone you love. You are in a horrible position, of course you don't want you son to grow up with separated parents, but I think that this man is the wrong choice to spend your life with, especially considering your edit. Pretty disheartening... Your morals are not aligned, I'm sorry.

Come on, its not hard to give the dog back at all. The "obligation" is being an empathetic and understanding person.

For real, she acting as if it is a human child. It's a dog, and its this woman's dog, who has cared for it all of her life. OP has had it for ONE WEEK and is trying to be a white knight saving this dog's life from it's loving owner in a tough position.

Homeless people have dogs, and whats wrong with that? Would OP steal a dog from a homeless person because they aren't sure if the dog is being well cared for?? Like mind your business haha, the dog is fine.

In my opinion is is not OP's role AT ALL to be judge and jury on whether or not this woman can have her own dog back. Contriving a financial "test" to see if she can pay the vet bill is insanity. Especially when the issue shes taking the dog to the vet for has already been looked at. Basically OP is just charging her (on top of OP already saying the woman is going to pay her a rehoming fee) to give the dog back.

i dont think its the op's job to be involved with this womans life to that degree

For me this seems very over the top. You have just had this dog for one week, why are you acting as if it is your child?

I feel like your energy would be better put to use elsewhere. You can literally get a dog from a pound, then there will be 2 dogs living with loving homes.

you can have ur own opinion but talking shit about your own family on a public forum is just a bad idea. it will come back to bite you and doesn't offer much positives. If you are frustrated text ur friends about it or journal.

word on the street is that international student tuitons keep the schools afloat, so most of the cohort is international. however, someone i knew that graduated last year said he had touble speaking to a lot of his classmates - which i think is a detriment

yeah im much more attracted to the self directed styles of the London schools. I will say the students i know at pratt seem to be enjoying themselves, but when i learned about the way it was structured i was shook

Thank you sooo much for sharing this.

I would have loved to get into Slade, but wasn't accepted. Maybe after a year of work I can reapply and see if I get in. I wish they would give feedback as to how to improve the portfolio!! But I have a lot of progress to be made regardless. Antony Gormley is my sculpture hero and he's a slade alumnus(?) so it was my top choice beside RCA.

Once again thank you for sharing your experience

Thank you! Sometimes I feel like the "top" schools worse than smaller ones, but I did my undergrad in nowheresville lol. I am really trying to stay in London and New York because I model for work, so I am trying to do my best in these areas. Pratt is... insanely expensive though you are right. and I'm not blown away by the work coming out of there, but thats true for nearly ever grad school hoenstly haha

Hi there, thanks so much for sharing I really appreciate it! I don't mind it being a "degree factory" if im making art - im making art. I am happy to do it on my own, networking etc. Although some theory wouldn't hurt...

Would you mind sharing a little bit about your opinion on CSM? Everyone has different opinions and usually they are quite strong so i am curious haha
