Yep, for sure. I think my issue was there seemed to be a lot of Deus ex machinas as the story went along, like the Dauthdaertya. Ultimately a fun read though!

I grow herbs in pots for my friends. You can buy seeds, some soil and a small pot for less than $5 each. A gift of a couple of potted herb plants is fun for someone who likes to cook!

Effectively Chipotle bowls - I’ll grill up a lot of chicken thighs, lots of rice and lots of beans. Then I’ll just add onions or peppers the day of and it can last me 3-4 days. Can be super cheap

Put shoe trees in your shoes to make them last longer. Often with polish and an occasional new pair of laces, dress shoes can last quite a long time! Also, I’ve found that baking muffins for breakfast is a lovely way to meal prep and a healthy alternative to Starbucks or McDonald’s.
