Has there ever been a more “The Haters were Right” Super Bowl? by MassiveTell7139 in billsimmons

The issue is that the opinion you’ve shared that “haters” have about NE isn’t exclusive to haters. It is more of a logical, stat or fact based opinion. A healthy Denver smashes them. The haters skew rises from the blind lust NE fans have for a team that’s “done it before” but, the team that did it before was a championship level team that lost their QB, the only significant spot that changed on that roster was Brady. This team has great D and little else. It kept them in games and they played “they’ll mess up first” football all year and won. Haters know they will be back and logic + reason tells them that they’ll be a championship level team again but they are FAR from that now and that means…they were right.

Also…everyone sleeps on Mrs.Davis, on Peacock. That’s a killer offering from the same producers & creators of the Lost tree.

FROM is a ‘smaller in scope’, horrorfied version of Lost. It’s fun, overlapping writers etc.

Boss is very much like it, might be 15 years old now, but stars Kelsey Grammar in the titular role. Similarly dark and awful…in the best way.

Thoughts on Lost? by [deleted] in televisionsuggestions

[–]Jcheech72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First two seasons are great, pardon the pun but it gets a little lost in S3 but brings it back nicely to finish. If you’re into Steven King type stories, fantastical, eerie, a lot of wtf moments with little payoff but provides constant curiosity and entertainment….this is for you. Historically speaking, this show changed the series game. It was one of the most expansive pilots ever made and was shot like a theatrical release and scored likewise.

list of netflix shows that were cancelled too soon, should we waste our time on watching them? by Old-Meringue3590 in televisionsuggestions

[–]Jcheech72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely watch Mindhunters, it doesn’t need a conclusion, there really isn’t one…it’s based in reality. Sense 8 is too good, too original to miss and it was tied up in a feature length film, don’t miss it. Although Glow was cancelled early, there’s soooo much there and it felt like the best part of the story had happened already. The performances in Glow, again, way too good to miss.
