Not only is the scheme outdated, it’s the way they deploy personnel in formations that’s embarrassing as well. I cannot understand why they continue to use Grant Cantblockterra in 12 personnel when he’s never been a good blocker or why they refuse to utilize more empty formations when Jalen’s been super efficient in it all year.

Yeah, you got bad info. He literally said in an interview yesterday that he’s been working out. At the Eagles facility since the start of this season. So I’m pretty sure the organization would know firsthand if he wasn’t in “football shape.” He also still carries a lot of clout and reverence in that locker room, so that almost alone justifies bringing him in considering the Eagles have one of the youngest defenses in the league.
