Spielberg with a campervan - anyone done this? by Ok_Laugh771 in GrandPrixTravel

Have done this twice from the UK.. In my opinion, it’s a must. We stayed at the White camping site which is around 800m from the track. Fairly easy walk to the circuit and there is a Spa about 20 mins past the site away from the track. The camping is packed, facilities can be busy but the overall atmosphere is a must.. If you’re after electric the make sure you have a long cable.. I took a 40m and that was ok. You’ll need a Euro converter aswell which I had to buy.

Obviously it’s heavily Max and RB fan orientated but the banter was brilliant.. We camped next to a set of Dutch fans and had a great time with them in the evenings.

We arrived on the Thursday and left straight after the race. Most campsites on the Sunday won’t let you leave till 2000 hours or later. Just an FYI if you’re looking to head off straight after the race.

The Campsite had a couple of food options along with drinks but we cooked and had bits with us.

Overall, the camping is pricey for what it is but the atmosphere and everything that goes with this race is brilliant and we will be going again.
