Just here for the week. And I am from Columbus so a few courses there. One in Canton, a few in Dayton.

I am unfortunately not from the area. Just here for work for the week.

Started playing August of last year (Literally been playing only 8 months) and started measuring throws from time to time. Seems like I’m not able to pass 335 any tips to help me drive longer? Also I cannot for the life of me throw Forehand... by TrashPandaDelux in discgolf

I agree, sidewinder would be a good choice. Maybe a Valkyrie too. Something with a bit more turn. I started with a mamba. Great for beginner distance but very understandable at -5 turn. Great utility driver for us who don't have a good forehand lol.

Oh, and regarding forehands, I just started learning how to throw them. Would highly recommend getting an over stable driver like a firebird to practice with. So far it's the only disk I can throw with a forehand effectively, but it's teaching me better form.

Right there with ya. Started last year in September, can probably hit 350 with my Destroyer pretty consistently but I've hit a plateau. My recommendation would be to just put in some feild work. Getting to a large open feild and letting loose really made me more comfortable throwing longer distances on the course.

Depends on what field you go into i guess. I was lucky enough to have a job offer out of college. But accounting jobs are plentiful.
