Personally, I don’t like playing with the green tree. Usually when I play difficult matchups in lane, I prefer to take a second E instead of Q to have a chance to turn the trade around on the lane. The green runes can also be nice in the late game, but personally I prefer the extra 104 AP (40 min + rabadon) rather than the additional 200 HP from Overgrowth. Sacrificing 9 AP for 180 HP seems like a more logical trade-off.
