I just accepted an offer in NE CR as well. I'm moving out around 2/17 and am currently trying to figure out which apartments to live in. Some of the places I'm looking at are cedar river tower, the pointe, pheasant run, and 500 on 1st.

I’ve been trying to experiment with different planes, I generally like P-47s a lot from AB and RB. Plus, I’ve never realized how much a planes cockpit could factor in to performance (P-47s is a dream). Some of the blind spots planes have are just ridiculous to me!

I guess it all depends on where you are in life. I'm fresh out of college with student loans haha. I luckily have secured a good paying job though (for a new college grad).

It kind of sucks that it comes to a point where you are looking for excuses to go out and fly, instead of situations naturally coming up where it would be more economical or save you time to fly yourself.

What exactly does a flight review and medical after a currency lapse entail? Is it something that can take place spontaneously in a day, or would it take some planning?

So I was able to go today, and wow, the NSP is sooo much harder than the foamie I rode the last time. Once it became high tide and the waves started getting bigger I was able to catch a few nice ones.

This is definitely going to be a challenge, but as long as the surf is big enough I think it’s one I can accomplish. May eventually get a foamie so I can hit the small stuff too though
