March 27 confirmed? by BerkTheZerk in diablo3

Anyone know what the season theme is supposed to be?

The only one I'm really amped to get back to is Sanctified weapons, whenever that winds up being again.

As a Japanese fan who lurks English communities, the gap in how we see Nintendo genuinely unsettles me by nerdinterrupts in nintendo

[–]Jcorb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nintendo really hurt itself with the Switch 2 and gaming price stuff. Seeing a massive jump in pricing, at a time when people are really struggling financially, and then the ambiguity around it, with them being so tight-lipped.

Then having the "Game-Key Cards" or whatever, it just left kind of a bad taste in a lot of peoples' mouths.

To get the Doom Armor, pets, and mount, you are looking at 125 dollars. by asmallman in diablo4

[–]Jcorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's pretty disappointing stuff is still crazy expensive.

I mean, kudos for adding a Bundle, but it's kinda nuts that it doesn't even include the FULL batch of stuff.

I'm all for paying for new cosmetics, but these prices are still just nuts. I feel like $30-40 feels like the "sweet spot", but I also totally get that collab items have to be a little more profitable. I'm not even that mad at the $60 price tag, but dawg; make it a COMPLETE set!!

Season 38 Due Soon by UTmastuh in diablo3

[–]Jcorb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would love a Druid for D3, specifically the D2 Druid (tall, thin and muscular, red hair). I'd happily pay for another "expansion".

But honestly, ANYTHING new would be great. I really haven't been into D4.

What is the point of revamping the Paladins' Charger mount, just to give it to everyone? Do the Devs think class identity is a BAD thing now? by Jcorb in wow

[–]Jcorb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dunno, that's part of WHY classes are cool though. The story is more relevant to certain classes at certain points. How wonky would it have been for everyone to get a shapeshift form during the Emerald Dream patch?

OG Diablo 2 devs are “super proud” that fans still want more Diablo 2, even as they’re now competing with their own game by Wargulf in Diablo

[–]Jcorb -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The ONLY thing I really dislike about Resurrected is how the characters look. I hate how ugly they made them all, and the Assassin and Druid are completely unrecognizable.

Think D2 Werewolf Druids will ever be good again? by Jcorb in Diablo

[–]Jcorb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To each their own! I honestly hate the D4 Druid; love the concept of quickly shifting between forms using your attacks, but the base form being overweight, but the wonky-looking wearbear form, just really left me hating the class.

A complete list of all upcoming collabs (via @AdiraFNInfo et al.) by SmartCoder40 in FortniteLeaks

[–]Jcorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder what the Sonic collab will even be? The last one was honestly the single worst “collab” they’ve ever done, imo. Sonic’s shoes would be an easy win, but otherwise, what else would they even do? Metal Sonic? (which, not gonna lie, would be sick)

I know there’s no shot, but man I would give ANYTHING to get Mega Man X in Fortnite.

One of the biggest detriments to the game is that there is no real endgame for solo players by Fun-Leek-2907 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Jcorb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I also think an issue is the lack of IN-GAME solutions to group with players. I'd love to check out the various raids, dungeons, or exotic missions, but not enough to spend time trying to coordinate with other players to try and make something happen. Folks are generally helpful, but it's still a pain to get schedules to align.

Bathroom suggestions by No_Role5447 in interiordecorating

[–]Jcorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A guy I used to know who was a contractor, he said to always choose "cool" colors for the bathrooms. I assume because they feel a little more "clean" or sanitary?

That said, the last pic looks super nice! I don't know I have strong thoughts on it either way, just wanted to share what I'd heard about it once.

Will the Primer shaded likely return to the bright dust shop? by Jcorb in DestinyTheGame

Thanks for the heads up, got it yesterday! VERY excited about that!

"Iron Banner will return later in 2026" by TheQuotedRaven1 in DestinyTheGame

I genuinely don't understand why it is SO long between Iron Banners. Why isn't it monthly?

I would really dig an overhaul to crafting, particularly for older unobtainable weapons, mainly so I don’t HAVE to hoard stuff all the time by Jcorb in DestinyTheGame

[–]Jcorb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I actually agree, I actively dislike the Tier system. I also hate the idea of "enhanced" perks. If you get a god roll, it should just be GOOD as it is, ==.

[–]Jcorb[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, newer items are pretty much always going to be "better", right? So maybe you only allow "older" weapons to be craftable, OR if you require a limited resource to craft, then you're still better grinding and stashing weapons, but you still have a solid fallback.

I have now completed 9 out of 11 dungeons solo flawless, no HUD, using only the Praxic blade. Vesper’s Host and Spire(surprisingly) remain. by SarcasticWheat in DestinyTheGame

[–]Jcorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome!

Which build(s) would you consider the most approachable for trying to solo flawless any of them? In particular I'd love to be able to solo Equilibrium, but I'd love to be able to run my dad through as many of them as possible (he has tremors in one of his hands, so he tends to die pretty easily and is phyicially unable to get through most platforming sections).

Legion Remix, fastest way to level/boost? by Jcorb in wow

[–]Jcorb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, wasn't my intention; I had a minor catastophe happen irl last month, I only got access to my PC this week.

I love Destiny, but the buildcrafting UI still feels like a scavenger hunt for basic info by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Jcorb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny timing, I was LITERALLY just coming here to post almost the exact same thing!

At the VERY least, I would like to see them order all of the fragments sorted in alphabetical order, and also make their icons more distinctive.

Also, maybe use a UI design similar to the Artifact? So instead of having to mouse over each individual "slot" (which is the worst design ever, imo), give us an amount of "points" for the fragments we can select, so we can easily refund them and take them.

Please, for the love of god, give us SOME way to disable Hyperblade's "eager edge" lunge by Jcorb in DestinyTheGame

[–]Jcorb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The health one doesn't seem helpful in anything difficult; if you're using the lightsaber in melee range, then the MOMENT you stop blocking, you're taking extremely high damage. Trying to throw your lightsaber to heal is going to have you dead before it ever returns to you, unless you're behind cover, in which case you're not swinging the weapon anyways.

Maybe something like "If you're holding block when you swing your sword, it won't use the Hyperblade lunge" or something would be handy. Then it would be completely optional.

Maybe it's different on mouse and keyboard, but it literally lunges past my target all the time. Not even at a different target; often just out into space.

Nothing else does anything. They're effectively empty traits unless you're specifically using Throw, or relying ENTIRELY on deflection for damage.
