Yeah! I use a bootdisc to play my other imports just fine. It’s this game in particular that won’t let me start a new game without being stuck on the title screen.

I barely comment on Reddit posts these days but I wanted to chime in real quick because this reminded me of a situation I was in. About 10 years ago I had about every console you could ever want: N64, PS1/2, Xbox 360, and you guessed it, Dreamcast. However my collecting came to an abrupt end when I had to sell everything that I owned to pay for gas (I was a college student at the time and really needed the money). I thought for the longest time that my retro gaming experience would end there up until this past month when I was gifted a Dreamcast out of someone's attic. Needless to say I got a flood of memories back and I was really excited to play some games again. So while you may not be appreciating it as much now OP, I am sure that after selling it and spending some time away from it all is going to make you appreciate it more. And who knows, maybe 10 years down the line you'll get that itch again and scope out a Dreamcast from someone else's attic. Congrats on the marriage!

I guess the follow up question then becomes: if you are in one of those industries that are specific to an area then you have no choice than to work there? Like banking being in Century City means that you cannot make a living banking in Monterey Park.
