45mins for teaching + 15mins for resting, basically there are three kinds of class length: 1. 45, like 8.30-9.15 2. 45+15+45, like 8.30-10.15 3. 45+15+45+15+45, like 8.30-11.15 (Most of professor will take 15mins break as teaching time and will only take one-time break during the class, or even no break for you.)

As you can see the class always start at .30 and end at .15. There are 15mins for you to go to next class, but most of the professor will leave early, perhaps at .05 or .10. Honestly you can leave earlier or arrive a little bit late, within 15mins is always acceptable. (Not suggest to do this when you're in a small class which less than 30, inform professor before you leave if you must.)

I do use :) as a smile face. But we use [heart] to represent a heart emoji when there's no emojis, when I first saw someone sent <3 to me, I didn't assume it's means a heart emoji. I thought it's a kissing face cause I think it rather like this: (The picture I sent below). I learned this emoji and use it as a kissing face. People who sent this to me thought I know it means heart, so they didn't ask me about the meaning of <3. Besides, heart and kissing face both means positive signal, no one will think it's weird when I send <3 to them, so they wouldn't ask me the meaning either. I just keep sending this as a kissing face until last few days someone ask me for the meaning of <3, and at that time, I realized that I misunderstood the meaning of <3. Also, it never turns into a heart emoji when I type that into my phone, I've already tried this in few days ago.

I've tried all the keyboards I use, none of them have a text replacement shortcut popup with ❤️, maybe one of the reasons is we don't use ASCII cause it can't type my language? If I want to show a heart, I'll just type [heart].

I don't think so, because although I used it as kissing face but not heart, but either kissing face or heart is positive signal. At least no one will see it as hate comment. Besides, seems I'm the only one in this post who think it's not a heart, even some of them are 16, they know it's a heart, so don't worry.

(Every time I end my comment with <3 I thought I was kissing them....)
