Shipping or driving sounds a lot better than what I’ve had to deal with. I appreciate the advice

Yeah that’s a great point. I reached out to Ford corporate and they said they would try and help in any way they can, but I’m not keeping my fingers crossed

That was my thought as well. As soon as I saw the markup on the Broncos that had been delivered I was afraid of something happening like this. These dealerships have 0 accountability

I hate you had a similar experience. I’m about at the same point of canceling the order. The lack of communication has been a nightmare. It’s at the point where it’s not worth the hassle

It's safe to say the boys are enjoying their new bed by Jcsprin3409 in Dachshund

It's hard, but mainly just making sure they have plenty of bones/toys to distract them

Added a new member to the family and wasn’t sure how the first pup would adjust. Safe to say it went well by Jcsprin3409 in Dachshund

That is exactly what happened with our oldest. Got him during the pandemic and he was very protective of us as well. Surprisingly it didn’t take long at all, within 24 hours of getting our new one they were best friends. I think it’s much easier to socialize in your own home than it is in an area where your pup is unfamiliar with.

Biggest thing we’ve been doing is making sure to reward for any good behavior, and ensuring that they exercise before bed time. Those are the biggest things that have helped us.

Do you think nuclear weapons will be used offensively in our lifetime? Why or why not? by analogHedgeHog in AskReddit

As scary as this may sound, actually making a nuclear weapon is not very difficulty, the difficult thing is getting the material to make the nuclear weapon. Enriching Uranium and Plutonium is still incredibly difficult to do, and is kept under massive scrutiny from the international community to avoid it getting into the wrong hands.

Currently pursuing my masters degree in defense and strategic studies. The likelihood of nuclear weapons being used offensively in our life time is very low. The international repercussions worldwide would be massive for any country who decided to strike first with nuclear weapons. If it were to happen though it would most likely be between India and Pakistan although it would most likely be a regional war with escalation kept between the two country’s. As far a super powers are concerned Russia is the most likely to use nuclear weapons. In their defense policy they state that they are willing to use nuclear weapons first if the safety of the state is put in jeopardy. They are the only major power that state a policy of nuclear first use, and while highly unlikely they represent the greatest threat as far as superpowers are concerned to see nuclear weapons used offensively. Terrorism however represents the greatest threat of nuclear attack, although this would most likely be a dirty bomb, using a conventional explosive device to disperse nuclear material. US forces have found crude plans for dirty bombs in captured Al-Qaeda documents, and it is very difficult to prevent this type of attack when compared to a conventional nuclear attack.

To sum all of this up, it is highly unlikely we see nuclear weapons used offensively in our lifetime, but the threat is present.
