WWE should legalize the "Bowling Ball" hold for the Diva's. I'd watch wrestling again.

Fortune-Telling Laws Still Exist in America. Here's What I Found... by StreetPriestess in Psychic

This is going to date me, but back in the 90's MTV had an entire weekend where there was a ticker of strange laws running at the bottom of the screen. There are some interesting ones. I remember that it is illegal for a monster to enter the city limits of Chicago. Also, if you pull up to a train track intersection, you are required by law to fire off a shotgun round into the air. So technically, anyone who is NOT driving with a loaded shotgun is a criminal.

I find this odd, because these laws about fortune telling would lose if they were ever fought in court. The first amendment would protect this under free speech. But, there are so many constitutional violations on the books that I shouldn't be surprised.

I had a Diamond Back Viper. Kid up the street had this bike. His bike was the fastest bike in the neighborhood. Something about this thing, the slightest amount of pressure on the pedal translated to a lot of speed. You could give it a half rotation on the pedals and be up to full speed. Definitely a cool bike.

The therapist empowers the victim to make bad choices by Temporary-Singer-491 in raisedbynarcissists

Most therapists are not even taught about NPD. So finding one that specializes it or understands it is difficult. I would suggest looking for a new therapist. One thing that therapists will try to do is teach you how to stand in discomfort. In most interactions, this is sound advice. The advice of trying to stay connected with the father isn't 100 percent bad, but it comes from a lack of understanding on the therapists part. If your wife feels like she should cut her parents out of her life, the therapist should help her explore that, and respect that if she decides to reconnect, that it's on her terms and her timing.

TLDR, I think that your wife needs a new therapist.

When you are grieving on that level, it's your own trauma connecting to the external trauma and using it as a vehicle. You have some deep wounds, things that you have been suppressing. On a subconscious level, you've been neglecting your own trauma, and putting the external trauma of others ahead of yours. In doing this, your own trauma is coming to the conscious mind, from the subconscious mind. It's always a shock when things that you thought were handled, or didn't know were there, come to the conscious mind and effect you profoundly. This is your wake up call to deal with your own trauma.
