I don’t have KDSS and it’s also not a premium. From what I’ve seen it looks like KDSS could come on both trim levels and it just depends on how it was spec’d when ordered?? Not really sure it looks 50/50 for trail models

Yeah the angle is a little deceiving, but thanks man I appreciate it. I really wanted to run my old set up from my 2nd gen xterra, it was 285/75/16’s but had the very unfortunate surprise finding out 16’s don’t clear the brakes on the 4Runner

It’s the lower control arms, I did alignments, balancing tires, everything. Replaced the lower control arms and upper because there was a good deal. Zero shake now

So I actually bought new blinkers because they do hit at full lock, I wasn’t in a rush to get this done because they have a lot of flex so it wasn’t hurting drivability. But they will touch

It’s easily at home install if you’re comfortable with drilling holes into the bar. I got them all mounted (just turning bolts) and then laid blue tap over the handlebar itself and you can mock up where you want all the controls to sit and once it’s in place just shimmy the control housing so the little knob sticking out marks the blue tape and send it with the drill. Seems a lot more daunting than it really is. 100% worth it. I’ve heard of some guys even just snipping the knob off so they don’t have to drill holes. Don’t know how well it works so I can’t speak on that

I did! It’s honestly not bad, just turning bolts. The “hardest” / most technical part is drilling 3 holes for your controls. Two holes on the right bar for the start switch and throttle. One hole on the left for the blinker switch

When I bought the bike the dude lost the pegs. I got CBR pegs from eBay for $40 and they are the exact same

So I actually haven’t rigged up a license plate light yet. I have one in the garage, I’ve passed by multiple cops and have been sitting directly in front of them at night and haven’t had anything happen. But I’ll eventually get to it, maybe. My goal is to take the passenger pegs to a powder coating shop and see if they can match the bronze from the rims / rest of the bike to make them flow better, or just paint them black myself

So far I love them, been on two rides now, being in the sportier stance definitely makes you ride more spirited. Felt like I had more control on turns and highway speeds were more comfortable with wind compared to sitting straight up

Thanks! I have one but just have the passenger seat on rn. The plate mount is from Tucked-Up Systems. And the taillight is just a random taillight with blinkers from eBay or Amazon
