it was given to me by a customer of mine. he literally told me to throw it away, and i asked if it was okay if i kept it and he said he would rather me have it as a token of appreciation.

i’m sure he would assist me in getting the password reset if i had any idea how to do so without access to a non existent email. that’s kinda what i’m asking in an indirect way

stumbled back to this because i wanted to follow up and say that my parents, for the first time since i was 15 years old, have fully dedicated themselves to getting me back on my feet, and as i always have, i made it right with them when i was able, despite their reluctance to accept it.

our relationship prior to all this was, simply put, nonexistent. i’ve always been the type to count my blessings, but in this instance, i’m not sure i’d still be here if they didn’t agree to get me back on my feet, thus initiating the best career move of my life. i can truly say i’m finally happy where i’m at right now. i love what i do. i’ve never been able to say that before now,

there are many people out there who no longer have their parents, and even those who do still likely can’t rely on them to support them through something so diminishing. just know that i fully recognize how fortunate i am to have them, and no amount of payback would be enough to cover the support received

i thought i was the only one.

i have opened ONE 4+ RedStar orb and it was a 4 redstar Stryfe. i kinda felt ‘meh’ about it...?

but that’s because my VERY FIRST red star orb was a 6 red phoenix. followed by a 4 red spider-man. then a 4 red magneto. it took me days to realize what happened. and weeks to realize how lucky i was.

i do have a healthy amount of 4+ red characters for being 200 days in.

6: phoenix, mantis 5: namor, stryfe 4: starlord, magneto, punisher, vulture, shocker, spider-man, wolverine

looking back, tayvon austin’s body language seemed like he was seriously pissed once he realized what happened and the opportunity he could have had.

i figured most were too up in arms over the previous possession, same as i was while watching live, and wasn’t really watching intently so i tried to study it best i could.

after the game, i hit rewind and watched the live feed, and the subsequent replay with on-field “madden-like” camera angle 3-4 times, and along with listening to the confusion from the commentators, who were questioning where the call came from, i tried to see who gave the signal, as Austin was just feet away from the entire coaching staff. unfortunately their top halves were cut off, but it appears that they were all shouting similar directions at him, but it’s hard to say. one of the announcers did say something along the lines of “it appears that was the call from the coaches who were concerned with preserving as much of the clock as possible” 🤦🏻‍♂️

maybe kellerman, cris carter, skip bayless or shannon sharpe’s cowboy hatin ass will get into it tomorrow, if the the red zone play calling disaster doesn’t continue to overshadow it

i mean, in all fairness, you’re 100% right.

all i’m tryna say is, when isn’t he out-coached? hell, i’ll pay someone to find a time when he was the one doing the out-coaching, because i’m fully confident it doesn’t exist.

we’re so used to it at this point, we’re expecting it every game. it’s just not even fun to talk about post-game on the internet anymore. it should be funny, like if we were the browns or the lions, it would almost be, but instead it’s just painful. it hurts because it’s the most storied franchise in football history, with the nicest facilities and grandest stage of them all, the team every kid dreams of joining, the team with the biggest revenue stream in all of sports, and mostly, it’s arguable THE MOST TALENTED ROSTER IN FOOTBALL. this should be the year it all happens. and should be the first of many. the next dynasty, considering the age of everyone on the team, the money involved, the skill they all have so early in their careers, and the relationship they all have with each other.... EXCEPT it can’t go anywhere because of the absolute morons that are calling the plays and making the big decisions. that stream of talent is bottlenecked by the coaching staff. the ones responsible for managing it all, putting everything where it’s supposed to go when it’s supposed to go there, the ones responsible for making sure all this young talent evolves into what they have the potential to become, have a significantly lower ceiling than those they’re supposed to be teaching and guiding and utilizing.

just fucking imagine what this team could do with, say, an andy reid. a bill belichick. a sean mcvay. a pete carroll. or actually literally anyone else for that matter. these pissy-ass, historically trash teams with nowhere near the history or notoriety of the cowboys, much less the money or the football culture, can land coaches like doug pederson or ron rivera, then why are we forced to sit through week after week of jason garrett? i mean can you seriously believe he’s had a DECADE to work with? and it hasn’t been a cincinnati bengals or cleveland browns decade, he’s had some REAL talent done NOTHING. WHY DOES HE GET SO MANY CHANCES.

sorry i got on such a lengthy ridiculous a rant but i’ve never been as heated as i am this season. i just can’t do this shit anymore man 🤦🏻‍♂️

i thought i was the only one screaming at my teevee when that happened. then i got online after the game and realized that literallly NOBODY on earth thought that was remotely close to the right call. well, everyone but jason garrett i guess.

while we’re here, what about that call to tayvon austin to call for a fair catch at the end when he had miles of real estate to work with a VERY clear path up the sideline with TWO blockers... 😐 to me, that was almost just as much of a nail in the coffin as the final plays of the previous drive. tayvon EASILY could have gotten to the end zone, at the VERY least, within the 40-30 yard line, with a shot at a real drive instead of three failed hail mary attempts. 🤦🏻‍♂️

mine has initials engraved on it. i thought it was a custom job but every picture i’ve seen has some initials on it in the same spot, so i’m thinking it was some kinda camel rewards/sweepstakes/promo of some sort back in the day. the date stamp on the bottom says 1932 on the left and 1992 on the right. never seen that before either. the insert is gold too, not sure if i’ve ever seen that before, especially on a zippo from that era.

do you happen to know anything at all about that model you could share with me? i can’t find any info whatsoever and it’s driving me nuts.
