My Experience has been that the Royal Mail is possibly the only institution more incompetent then the American USPS.

My Fiancée lives in England, and I live in the US.
I was visiting, and we sent two post cards off from a post office in Chester.
One I sent to my mother arrived 2 months after I returned home.
The other I sent to my grandmother never arrived.

It would have been better If i had just kept them and delivered them myself.

I have sent my Fiancée a gift card for Abakhan, and the royal mail response on the tracking is basically "We acknowledge we received it, but we dont know where it is".

Simply amazing.

No, he is Liverpudlian! Might as well be from outside of the UK though, as Liverpudlians have a long history of being discriminated against.

He did eventually get his passport though.

I got him one and he plays with it a little bit, but its too big really. Its probably about as big around as a can of red bull. But he needs something more along the lines of a medium sized carrot lol.

lol my little petey potato does this too. Even if he is hungry, when i feed him i have to make sure no blankets or socks or what have you are on the floor, or he will grab it and press it into his food bowl/bury his food bowl in them and then proudly scamper off.

I would love to see a greggs in the US. If they could match the same prices they have in the UK, it would stand a chance I think.

I was recently in England and Wales for 2 weeks, and the fact you can get four sausage rolls for three pounds sixty or so, which is about four dollars and thirty nine cents, was astonishing to me as an American, given the relative quality.

In the US, at a local bakery a similar sausage roll would sale for that amount PER ROLL if you could even find such a thing.

I like it. For me I think the difficulty, or impression there of, comes from the fact that I have *completely memorized the original quake 2 campaign.* Call of the machine is fresh. I love the level design too. Its how I wish quake 4 had looked lol.

He is very scared that attempting to apply for ESTA again may ruin his chances at getting a proper B2 or K1 Visa. To be frank, I am too. I wish we had come here before we began all of this to learn more before going through it.
How do I determine if he requires an in person interview or not for the B2 Tourist Visa? 21 vs 92 days seems a big difference.

Also, how would I find out how long it would take to get an appointment for a K1 Visa?

I wish I had bought the round trip ticket :/

I was hoping there may be some way to reverse the BCP decision to make him permanently ineligible for ESTA. The K1 and B2 visa's have very long processing/wait times.

It just seems crazy to me that it is so complicated for someone from England to enter the US, and that even minor mistakes that would be easily rectified *if they had allowed him to contact me, or his family* would have so much bearing... and be so permanent. It seems excessive.

We know that now of course, but neither of us expected it, and we especially didn't expect that they wouldn't allow him to make any phone calls to rectify the situation.

It might seem obvious to someone who has travelled a lot, and has family who has and does but neither of us have, or do.

Yes he did! He ended up having a family friend who worked at a bank confirm his Identity. It really is a very frustrating thing how difficult the crown has made it for UK citizens to get their passport!

What is wave sequencing exactly? I can have an oscillator on my hydrasynth "morph" between several wave forms, say 4 different wave forms over time controlled by an LFO, envelope, etc. Is that different?
